The welcome reception is a networking event for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and presenters. It promotes rich conversations and helps build meaningful relationships between peers within the primary care profession. Light canapes and beverages will be served.

Venue: Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand, opposite Tākina.

The Zoo: After Dark

Experience the wonder and magic of Wellington Zoo after-hours! Stroll past the otters, native kororā (little blue penguins), capuchins and snow leopards as the animals settle in for bed, before enjoying canapes and drinks in the heart of the Zoo. Feeling adventurous? Dive into Wild Explorer, an immersive new virtual reality experience. Roam the prehistoric world in Dinosaur Evolution, or plunge into the blue waters of Tonga in Swimming with the Humpback. Don't miss this family-friendly night of adventure! Your ticket includes exclusive, after-hours access to the Zoo, a light meal, and a non-alcoholic drink.

Coaches depart for the Zoo from Tākina iSite Bus Pickup Zone on Wakefield Street immediately after the last session ends. Dress to the conditions, with comfortable shoes, warm clothing, and a waterproof layer just in case!
